Believe me or not, but the dress I wore for this post is around 40 years old. Yes 40 years old!
My grandad bought it to my gandma in Chicago as a present, while he was there visiting his family ;)
Later on my mummy wore this dress for few occassions and now is my turn, haha, what i really appreciate about the past is that the clothes were made with love and passion, the quality was uncompromising factor and people take care so much more about their clothes compare to nowadays. Seriously how many clothes now will survive and look almost like a new for 40 years? Most people shop and drop and change their closet every seasson. Maybe this is good, cos it helps to boost the economy, but personaly I tend to keep my clothes hanging in my wordrobe for ages and I buying less but try to pick a better quality. Tell me what is your shopping habits?
