"Falsely Accused"

Hi sugar pies! ❤️ I am happy to share with you a series of images called "Focus on the past" If you follow me on social media channels like Facebook or Instagram, you will know how brave I was yesterday, when decided to cut my hair to super short (haha!) and color them into silvery color.
However, these images were shoot back in February 2015 when I had possibly the longest hair in my entire life-time ^.^. Sunday morning alarm clock set up for 5 am, I was ready for new adventure! This was my first ever shoot inside a derelict building before and we did choose the most difficult one to enter. No pain no gain! HAHA :-)
This Vintage dress choices makes me fee like I was coming out of an episode of  the 60's TV drama
This old Town Hall was built in 1807 by Charles Watson and since at least 1997 to present, the building remains disused. In 2007, it was named by the Victorian Society as one of their top ten buildings most at-risk.  We have shoot inside for about 3 and half hour and despite fighting with the cold inside  this old stone building  (but, of course, I am not a woman to be swayed by the weather), we managed to complete a set of four images.
Hope you enjoy these as much as I loved working on the shoot with this A-team!

Writing is the only thing that left for me to feel better.....

Does fashion makes sense... Of course no!  Fashion Tend to reflect the cultural moment or the mind set and makes it digestible to the masses. It doesn't make sense when takes too seriously! The creativity, self expression, it is the fact that you can create something from scratch and that people will want to wear it and love it ^.^   Let's Face the truth, fashion is just a cheap version of beauty, it is just a bit of a shortcut to beauty and that what doesn't make sense. ... What else??? doesn't make sense The fashion industry sells us easily (thanks to social media) a disconnect message you are not happy (or you shouldn't be!) as you don't have as many shoes, dresses etc etc! Because of this, we buy so many things >insert tired face< but keep so little of them. We should buy a few select pieces (good quality not forget to mention) and want to keep them for as long as we can. Not, buy as much as we can and use them for as little as we can... Sustainability, have you heard this word? If not get it down on paper and stick on the wall over your bed on cork-board...
Did you know if we all extend the use of our garment by 9 months we could save $8 billion a year on the cost of resources used to manufacture, launder and dispose of clothing.
Fashion is like story telling thing to me.  I produce my own little stories through this blog and I share them with this big world, Being crazy makes sense to fashion, not just mass producing clothes and luxury items. Being creative makes me really relaxed and thats what I Like about Fashion.  Freedom of expression makes sense....

I was by myself for a pretty long time. I needed to do that. I think everyone that I know has wanted to do that or needed to do that at some point. I think when you spend enough time when it’s quiet around you and you don’t open your mouth for three or four days, there’s parts of your brain that can kind of rest. I think when we’re out in the world and we have to talk to people, we edit ourselves. You know, we have to like, act a little bit. As honest as we may be as humans, when we’re out here, we’re all kind of wearing mirrors on our faces. You know, constantly reacting to how to react to the people around you. And I think when you’re alone for a long enough time, you can feel a lot more peace.

The days are getting shorter. The nights are getting longer and the cold is setting in, making it harder to get through the night. Everything was purple and foggy when I woke up this morning at 5:00 am.  A real pea-souper of freezing fog that’s lasted all day and is only getting thicker. It feels properly like autumn now. Winter is just around the corner.

Keep up! Sleep tight, dear WiFi addicts!

La femme au chapeau

My dear blogreaders – I’m so sorry that I’ve disappeared over the past few weeks.  I’m not even sure what happened to the weekend – I snapped out of my daze and suddenly it’s Monday afternoon, and I’m not even halfway through my To-Do’s. Nevermind.  University is just started and third month at my "new" job just pass by and my brain has started to freeze – and yet time keeps ticking…

LE POLAROID

Once upon a Mocca time, I'm back to you guys with a new post, after the longest break I ever had from blogging . Did you miss me?  Times really does fly, doesn’t it? I do wonder as I am writing down these lines how is it even possible that I haven’t been writing here for such a while? Coming back to reality, I am turning 23 in next hour and ten minutes *_*. I soon be back for my Final year to finish my degree in Fashion and Textile Buying Management at Huddersfield Uni, got my timetable and abstract done for my dissertation, whoop got my part time Uni in London for Japanese language sorted and got my job hours sorted whoop whoop and then I got a very little time to accommodate for all the things I enjoy doing on my free time, my guitar and piano lessons, my riffle club, anime and manga, gym and of course blogging, this is going to be an intense year for me, but I pretty excited about it....

As mum would usually say " If you love what you do, you will never have to work another day in your life" My mother also says that everyone says knows change is hard. It takes time to audit work flows, research and implement new skills. We are all budding entrepreneurs in one way or another, aren't we? Whether we own a small business, have a grand plans for starting one or just enjoy daydreaming about throwing caution to the wind to make donuts full time.

To be honest... All I want is to wake up and tell you the words that I have spent too much time merely dreaming of.
Maybe I’m just inherently awkward *_*
Back to business.... I want this space to always remain my personal space It is just a blog~ my experiences, my triumphs, my struggles. If you like and relate to it, great! If you don't, keep it moving...  This is not a cash cow.  This website requires more writing, more imagery, more high quality stories, more passion perhaps.....

I am telling the same story over and over, which is myself and the world.
I create my own world through photography and this blog...

In the late evening, with very little rhetorical fluency remaining to round up any profound conclusion to this scrambled essay.  Hell I’m a lost girl in a world with too much greed and sex. So good night....

She has an old fashioned soul...

Hi everyone! Hope you’re all having a great time and enjoyed a wonderful week. Meanwhile today, I am excited to share with you new pictures. The idea for the theme of this shoot, was a young girl in 50's Theatrical scenery , the mood creates the sense of escapism and elusion. I am completely obsessed with the vintage  make up and hair style right now.

The base for the 50's style makeup was a foundation cream, creating a pale, mask-like complexion which was topped off by patting on a flesh colored powder to set it. Add highlight on the temples and upper part of the cheek bone. Next came eyelinerby the mid 50's the winged, cat eyeliner was a very important part of the decades makeup looks, apply neutral eye-shadow to the entire eyelid. The Hollywood Bombshell look wouldn't be complete without glamorous red lips!

Back to 1930's ...

How was everyone’s weekend?  In other news, I’m struggling to understand why it’s Monday. I’m awake. Probably not for long, though. I’m still exhausted. *Rubs eyes*...

Here is my first attempt at changing my style. I say attempt, because it's not very new or groundbreaking, but I'm working on it! hehe.. I have social anxiety awkward, I say it as more of a "Jeezus, you're freaking me out" kind of way.  "Oh em gi"  Moving on...

I love fashion and  retro richness of 1930's. The silhouette is tall and slender, emphasizing broad shoulders, a small bosom, streamlined hips and a standard waistline  Many of my fashion tastes came directly from book and movies or the stuff  I found in thrift and antique stores. I've been wanting to photograph this midi-skirt for a while, and I kept waiting for some good location ideas that will suit well her vintage old-stylish vibe. Frank told me about the perfect place for our shooting. A windy day at Ingrow West on The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. Such a fun time!  :) There is so many places in Yorkshire, that I do not know about, but I want to explore more over this summer ^.^

Simplicity is a new black

The Latte Factor® comes from the notion that if we added up the cost of our daily lattes and saved it or invested it, we could build up wealth significantly faster. (っ˘ڡ˘ς)

Today look is the third one from the black and white series. The usual tousled hair and long dress might not form the most inspiring content, but when juxtaposed with some brilliant natural backlight, shot by a talented lensman, it all starts to come together. There is so much opportunity to express yourself, and explore textures and fabrication during the photoshoot. Creating beautiful images has been my favorite creative outlet since as long as I can remember. Capturing a mood through the expressions, creating shapes through the flexibility of  body and narrating a bit of my personality through the style have always been the main focus of my blog. Simplicity, not to be confused with laziness, is true "Art Form" that the logic of 21st Century makes almost impossible. But Yes, we’re capable of holding three different conversations with three different people on three different technologies at the same time. We’re working multiple shifts, internships, and studies until society (née Human Resources) deems us worthy of whittling it all down to just one day job. But mostly, let us all believeVogue dreams come true....

So, this year, I resolve to think outside the damn box.
True internet love, they say. So, from the bottom of my soy chai latte,**
It's 10:30 P.M and I am just back from my training at Rifle&Pistol Club, tired...
Good night!

“Dreams Never End.” And they shouldn’t.

All hail the fashion nerds!!! Following up on the xx series with a second look, again relying on the simplicity or silhouette of the outfit to take the look through. Oh well. It’s simple, really. Our photoshoot concept behind this shoot was to showcase the clothes in a relatable and wearable fashion without eliminating the dreaminess and the wonder. We played with a grey palette, but there is one photo in color (bonus version) at the bottom of this post!  It’s the Monday. I need to get myself together. Back to inbox-bashing. Happy Bank Holiday to all my UK readers :)

I Am The Highway

I couldn’t be happier to try something different and push my boundaries as a Fashion Blogger.  I toy with minimalism once in a while. The power of clean lines, of ‘just’ the right amount of clothing on an equally formidable personality can be intimidating sometimes...

My blog for me is a journey through the  fashion and photography world.  I have always believed in constantly evolving, learning and getting better at the things I do.  I had the privilege of working with the very talented Richard Hardwick on this photoshoot. I've created this post for a lovelybrand called EliteFashion99. I paired thieir lovely checqued pants with my sheer Versace shirt which I bought at a vintage shop long time ago. This is the first post of my 4 post series should I call them "fifty shades of grey" haha, nah but I hope you will enjoy it.  I feel a bit of a change coming on. If only in small measures...

I'm still waiting for the photos from my big photoshoot to be ready to go and publish (If you follow me on instagram or facebook you'll see small sneak peek) But meanwhile, I feel this place look quite abandoned and need more love, so I will post a quick update with a small photoshoot I did for Michelle for her University assignment ^^ It is a bit unusuall project for me and I hope you will take this with a pinch of salt. Fashion is supposed to be fun.  Have a great day!

SPRING IN THE AIR

Spring has finally sprung. And although it does not exactly feel like it’s in the air (since it’s been in the 40ºF lately), it has arrived — and that means …  more time day-dreaming outside around blooming flowers ❤️‍ Today, I was walking home in my flowery dress listening already to my Spring time playlist while rain was gently falling, and I sensed a cruel but beautiful irony that made me feel very peaceful, the reflection of sun rays bring me to realize that life is a long trip.

& Let me say that aloud, british weather have a tendency for schizophrenia between breathtakingly crisp, clear days, and bone-chilling downpour, but mostly very much a wet weather all year round...  This is another photoshoot favourite location- Yorkshire Sculptures Park, favourite place for coffee and art lovers, full of visual  craftsmanship, and beautiful landscapes the whole scene is washed in deep blue, green, and bronzes. I can definitely see what the Impressionist movement saw. And it’s quite magical. I should picnic inYSP more often....

My Modern Cinderella Story...

I'm pretty excited about the premiere of Cinderella in UK on 27th March. From the trailer and promotional posters I can say that the setting and costumes  look beautiful so this makes me even more excited! I'm a complete sucker for happy ending stories~  Have you seen the movie yet, what is your final thoughts on it? So here is mine version of Cinderella, I went for a shoot in Burnley Park for a Olivia project, she managed to organize and photograph different Disney characters for her University assigment, pretty awesome! You can check more of her characters here-> >click<
The Fun fact: when we were shooting, all of the kids from the playground came to see me and were screeming "Elza is here", haha I guess they didn't watch the old animated Cinderella story but they automatically connote the blue dress to the Frozen main character :)

Glassy Sky

In a morning like this, the quite hum of a miscellaneous things, small peeking of light through the window from the sun, and distant sounds of middle of the week traffic. Everybody is rushing somewhere, and I'm still sleepy and idle in my cozy bed. When I wake up with that beautiful morning scent of freshly washed sheets and your hair somehow lingering in each inhale I take.  How this beautiful scent once brought peace of mind and a tiny smirk to begin a day...now haunts and saddens me because it’s a morning I can never have it again. If Infinity exist, please, can I just live in my present moment? Sunrise, don’t rise.  So to make myself a bit more motivated I put Tchaikovsky etude op. 40 on my speaker (yes, I one of these awkward people who actually enjoy listening to classical music in the morning, but yes I do listen mainstream music, sometimes  ┐(・。・┐) ♪ ) my fingers start moving with the melody and my head tries to visualise the music notations, Ok it is time to wake up and drink first coffee.

Today blogpost look was shoot at Leeds Clarence Dock, this area was so empty despite we shoot this look on Saturday 12 o'clock; since the new shopping mall has opened on the other side of city centre and all of the shops just automatically moved there or just get closed because of low footfall. The general ambiance was pretty peaceful.  It was a rainy day with  golden sunshine.  For today look I wore a fluffy collar bought at Asda, george as I went to buy a milk for my Tea (Yes, in Britain people drink Tea only with a milk) during my working hours and because I so desperately didn't want to get back quickly to the office and all the lovely excel tables, I decided to grasp a look around the shop and Boom). Another factor of this look are Top shop Moto jeans. I’ve been living in these skinny as hell, for the past week – after having lounged about in boyfriend jeans for the past few months, skinnies are making me feel refreshingly confident.

Bokura zutto futari de hitotsu darou?

Hey my loves!  So here’s something I’ve been waiting to share for a while :-)
On this particular Sunday morning, en route for the photoshoot where I was on Set in Hull for a lighting workshop day.  There are few things more effective than the grueling process of packing and repacking to make any woman realise that, first, we were not born for this ! ( I always packing  far too much unnecessary stuff and funny enough iI always use around 20% of my suitcase content) However, I have to admit, it was a fantastic event, and I was able to see and meet so many creative minds! Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart!
