She has an old fashioned soul...

Hi everyone! Hope you’re all having a great time and enjoyed a wonderful week. Meanwhile today, I am excited to share with you new pictures. The idea for the theme of this shoot, was a young girl in 50's Theatrical scenery , the mood creates the sense of escapism and elusion. I am completely obsessed with the vintage  make up and hair style right now.

The base for the 50's style makeup was a foundation cream, creating a pale, mask-like complexion which was topped off by patting on a flesh colored powder to set it. Add highlight on the temples and upper part of the cheek bone. Next came eyelinerby the mid 50's the winged, cat eyeliner was a very important part of the decades makeup looks, apply neutral eye-shadow to the entire eyelid. The Hollywood Bombshell look wouldn't be complete without glamorous red lips!

Today we're blog hopping on the Vintage Vibe blog tour!

I was luck to find a perfect website called "Ericdress" for more vintage outfit inspirations. I have eclectic taste, and I love vintage style mixed with glamour and old world charm.  I am so excited to share a little more about this. fell in love with the colors and these prints, all of the fun possibilities to play with pattern.   Below are a six of my favorite picks from the ericdress website
My wardrobe goal is to fill the closet of the girl who seeks adventure and travels ...

Back to 1930's ...

How was everyone’s weekend?  In other news, I’m struggling to understand why it’s Monday. I’m awake. Probably not for long, though. I’m still exhausted. *Rubs eyes*...

Here is my first attempt at changing my style. I say attempt, because it's not very new or groundbreaking, but I'm working on it! hehe.. I have social anxiety awkward, I say it as more of a "Jeezus, you're freaking me out" kind of way.  "Oh em gi"  Moving on...

I love fashion and  retro richness of 1930's. The silhouette is tall and slender, emphasizing broad shoulders, a small bosom, streamlined hips and a standard waistline  Many of my fashion tastes came directly from book and movies or the stuff  I found in thrift and antique stores. I've been wanting to photograph this midi-skirt for a while, and I kept waiting for some good location ideas that will suit well her vintage old-stylish vibe. Frank told me about the perfect place for our shooting. A windy day at Ingrow West on The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. Such a fun time!  :) There is so many places in Yorkshire, that I do not know about, but I want to explore more over this summer ^.^
